Paint Estimator Pro purpose – You will find most features in Paint Estimator Pro achieve the below purpose.

    • Receive a lead or call from a prospective customer.

    • Record customer information and maybe discuss the job.

    • Set up an appointment to meet with the customer and do the estimate.

    • Provide the prospective customer with an estimate.

      • The faster the customer gets the estimate, the more likely you are to get the job!

      • If the estimate is Professional and detailed, the more likely you are to get the job!

Setup company information in Paint Estimator Pro

This video shows new users of Paint Estimator Pro how to set up their company specific information. Your company information is necessary so that: company name; company logo; company telephone number; company license number; and company email are displayed on the Estimate and Work Order PDF.

Paint Estimator Pro Breaks the estimating process down into multiple steps

  • Get the Customer Information.

  • Qualify the Lead – Identify what items in what areas of the building are being painted. 

    • Usually done either on the phone or when you meet the customer.

  • Complete the measurement / Counting phase of the estimate.

  • Review the estimate

  • Price the estimate

  • Create a estimate PDF and provide it to the customer

Interior Estimates

Interior Estimate Create Lead in Paint Estimator Pro

Create Interior Lead. This is the first step in Paint Estimator Pro's estimating process. Typically the prospective customer is on the phone and you are taking down their information and scheduling an estimate appointment.

Interior Estimate Qualify, Measure and generate PDF in Paint Estimator Pro

This video shows the user of Paint Estimator Pro how to identify which items and rooms are to be painted (Qualify) and then enter measurements of items to be painted into the App.  This video also shows how to generate a PDF estimate after entering values.  Measuring and counting the different items to be painted is how Paint Estimator Pro calculates the estimated price, hours needed to complete the paint job, and materials necessary to complete the job.

Exterior Estimates

Exterior Estimate Create Lead and Qualify in Paint Estimator Pro

Create Exterior Lead and Qualify at the same time. Creating the lead is capturing the customer information (Name, address etc.) and Qualifying is the step that captures what items are to be painted (Siding, Trim, Soffit, etc). Occasionally, these 2 steps are completed while the customer is on the phone witch facilitates performing the measurement step without the customer present. This video show how a user of Paint Estimator Pro would do these two steps while the customer is on the phone.

Exterior estimate measure in Paint Estimator Pro

This video shows the user of Paint Estimator Pro how to enter measurements of items to be painted into the App. This video shows the user how to enter measurements of an Exterior estimate. Measuring and counting the different items to be painted is how Paint Estimator Pro calculates the estimated price, hours needed to complete the paint job, and materials necessary to complete the job.

Create exterior estimate PDF in Paint Estimator Pro

This video shows how to complete an Estimate in PDF format suitable to send to the customer. Paint Estimator Pro is designed so that this can be produced on your phone and sent immediately after measuring the estimate. By producing and sending the estimates to the customer more quickly Paint Estimator Pro users have seen sell rates increase significantly.

Editing the cost of paint

This video shows how to change the cost of paint when the paint companies raise their prices, helping you to keep your profit margin up.  There are two places you will need to go to to change the paint cost, Add/Edit Painted Items and Add/Edit Materials, both found on the home screen by scrolling to the bottom and looking under settings.
